Welcome to Bass Dentistry
before you arrive
What to Expect on Your First Visit
From the moment you walk in, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our front desk team, Heather and Julia. After getting settled, you’ll meet Dr. Bass and her assistant, who will take any necessary X-rays, discuss your concerns, and put together a plan tailored to your smile goals. Depending on your needs, you’ll also spend time with your hygienist for a thorough cleaning and exam. Your first visit may take up to two hours, so we can give you the attention you deserve.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Complete your paperwork in advance to save time (or we'll get you set up in the waiting room)
- Bring any previous X-rays, or let us know which office to request them from
- Plan for up to two hours so we can give your smile the full attention it deserves

Let's get to the Root
What Patients Ask Us Most
Do you offer personalized dental care plans?
Bass Dentistry works alongside each patient to help them strengthen their dental health and achieve any cosmetic, restorative, or alignment goals they may have. Listening to patients’ end goals helps us formulate a proactive plan tailored to them. Backed by leading digital imaging technology, our digital X-rays provide accurate insights into your dental health.
What can I expect at my first visit?
At your first visit, we take the time to get to know you and your dental needs. You’ll start with a thorough exam and any necessary X-rays to assess your oral health and identify areas that may need attention. We’ll discuss your personal goals, review your dental history, and create a customized plan to keep your smile healthy.
Do you accept dental insurance?
While we are not in-network with insurance, we do provide itemized receipts you can use to request reimbursement from your provider. To make care accessible for everyone, we also offer Dental Membership Plans that include cleanings, exams, X-rays, emergency visits, and savings on additional treatments for adults, children, and periodontal patients.
What do I need to do after I book an appointment?
Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive clear instructions on any forms or information needed before your visit. The team at Bass Dentistry will ensure a smooth check-in process, answer any questions you have, and guide you through your first visit step by step.
What do I need to know about payment, insurance, and billing?
For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s) are also welcome. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at (704) 864-9949. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan but this must be done prior to the actual procedure.
