We are a family dentist in Gastonia, providing gentle, compassionate care for patients of all ages. Led by Dr. Diana Bass, a second-generation dentist, our dedicated team prioritizes your smile and overall dental health.
What we do
Our services include teeth cleanings, cavity fillings, dental evaluations, x-rays, tooth extractions, cosmetic restorations, teeth whitening, and Invisalign. We cater to the dental needs of your entire family, regardless of age.

Family And Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Diana Bass
Dr. Diana Bass, a Gastonia native, returned to her hometown to pursue her dental career closer to family. As the daughter of a dentist, she learned the importance of a healthy smile early on. Dr. Bass is married and has two young daughters.
She holds degrees in Biology and Psychology from Duke University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors from UNC Chapel Hill. After completing a two-year General Practice Residency at UNC Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident, Dr. Bass worked as a general dentist in the Research Triangle. There, she held full surgical privileges at WakeMed Raleigh, providing care for patients with severe anxiety, special needs, and medical issues.
Dr. Bass is experienced in aesthetic and functional restorative dentistry, crown and bridge restorations, oral surgery, and root canals. She values patient education and collaborates with patients to restore their smiles. Passionate about community service, Dr. Bass participates in dental projects like the Missions of Mercy Dental Clinics through the North Carolina Dental Society. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church and loves serving as a dentist in her hometown community.

Fender
Therapy Dog
Fender is therapy certified from Invisible Paw Prints and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification. He works with patients to provide comfort or a welcome distraction during their dental treatment by sitting on laps in the operatory or being available for pets from Dr. Bass’s office.
Michelle
Dental Hygienist
Michelle has been in dentistry for over 20 years, spending 6 years as an Assistant and 14 years as a hygienist, with a degree from Catawba Valley Community College. Michelle has been married for 20 years, and has two beautiful daughters. In addition to spending time with her family, she loves camping, skating, 4 wheelers, and anything that goes fast!

Dental Hygienist
Emily graduated from CPCC's Dental Hygiene program in 2017 and has been active in dentistry for 10 years. In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, camping, and boating. She loves getting to know her patients and educating them on improving their overall oral health.
Ashlyn

Ashlyn graduated from WPCC’s Dental Assisting program as an expanded functions dental assistant in 2015. She loves meeting new people & building relationships with her patients, making them laugh & helping them feel comfortable during treatment. In her spare time she enjoys being on the lake boating with friends & family, spending time at the beach, listening to live music, and baking sweet treats!

Shannon graduated from Rowan Cabarrus’s dental assisting program in 2017. She absolutely loves dental assisting and is always eager to learn new techniques to improve her skills. On the weekends, Shannon enjoys spending time with her daughter and her husband, going on adventures camping and just relaxing at home.

Heather attended CPCC to become a Certified Dental Assistant. She enjoys seeing patients each day and helping with any needs that arise. Heather enjoys frequent trips to Disney with her family, CrossFit, and Spartan races.
Julia
Patient Care Coordinator
Julia always greets patients with a friendly smile. She enjoys spending her time with her family, meeting new friends while traveling on vacation, and event planning. Julia helps keep everything orderly and running smoothly day to day with her amazing organizational skills!
