Dr. Diana Bass
Dr. Diana Bass, a Gastonia native, returned to her hometown to pursue her dental career closer to family. As the daughter of a dentist, she learned the importance of a healthy smile early on. Dr. Bass is married and has two young daughters.
She holds degrees in Biology and Psychology from Duke University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors from UNC Chapel Hill. After completing a two-year General Practice Residency at UNC Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident, Dr. Bass worked as a general dentist in the Research Triangle. There, she held full surgical privileges at WakeMed Raleigh, providing care for patients with severe anxiety, special needs, and medical issues.
Dr. Bass is experienced in aesthetic and functional restorative dentistry, crown and bridge restorations, oral surgery, and root canals. She values patient education and collaborates with patients to restore their smiles. Passionate about community service, Dr. Bass participates in dental projects like the Missions of Mercy Dental Clinics through the North Carolina Dental Society. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church and loves serving as a dentist in her hometown community.
