Who is a good candidate for Invisalign?

Invisalign works well for teens and adults with mild to moderate alignment issues such as crowded teeth, spacing, or minor bite problems. We’ll first assess your smile with a consultation to confirm that Invisalign is a good fit for your teeth and treatment goals. To determine if Invisalign is right for you, book an appointment with us.

During your appointment, we’ll discuss your tooth alignment goals and make molds of your teeth. Bass Dentistry will then send the molds to Invisalign, which will create a specialized tooth movement plan that you can review at your next visit.

Treatment time depends on the complexity of your case. For some patients, Invisalign can straighten smiles in as little as 6 months. However, many cases take between 12 and 18 months to complete.

Though there can be a bit of initial tenderness or sensitivity, wearing Invisalign trays is generally painless. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign does not typically irritate one’s gums or lips. Invisalign trays are also removable, which makes brushing teeth easy and eating more pleasant.
